An organisation working with young people was developing a training programme focusing on a specific and innovative way of working that linked to the charity’s ethos. The client wanted to understand the current experience of practitioners.
Using existing networks and a screening questionnaire we identified current practitioners in this niche area who would be willing to be interviewed by telephone.

Insights & Outcome

Telephone interviews identified the skills and characteristics that practitioners need to be effective as well as identifying four different and specific styles of practice. The client used the insight to identify good practice, develop appropriate and effective training materials and establish themselves as experts in this filed, taking a lead in innovating for the sector.

What the client said...

Susie brought professionalism, focus and appropriate challenge alongside an easy working relationship. She helped us to reach many more people than we had expected through her recruitment methodology ensuring that the depth interviews were with the right range of people. The results produced genuine insight and have helped us develop the next phase of our work.
