Working as an associate for Oxford Research I completed a market scoping and competitor analysis for an online retailer.
The client needed to understand the profile of their competitors, the market they were operating in and potential opportunities for growth. Using publicly available information we identified the market size and growth trends. We provided a comprehensive overview of their competitive set including summary financials, product range, customer satisfaction and marketing activity. This enabled us to identify where the client differentiated themselves and we were able to provide clear, actionable recommendations for future growth.
The project enabled the client to develop a differentiated brand positioning and marketing strategy.
